Canoe Brook Water Treatment Plant

• This award-winning project was a replacement for a plant dating back to the 1920’s. The new state-of-the-art facility provides New Jersey residents with up to 15 MGD.
• The environmentally sensitive design included premium efficiency pump motors and water efficient plumbing fixtures as well as high efficiency lighting fixtures and use of natural lighting. The site has applied for LEED Certification.
• Pipe prefabrication was an important part of this installation.
• The New Jersey Alliance for Action awarded the site with “New Jersey’s Leading Infrastructure Award” for rebuilding a turn of the century plant.
